Thillu Mullu Movie Review
Can Shiva match what Rajnikanth did in the original? WIll the remake of yesteryear hit Thillu Mullu will match the original? These two questions pops up in the mind of everyone who goes to watch the remake version of Thillu Mullu that hit the
screens today. Directed by Badri and produced by Vendhar Movies, the movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and legendary composer M S Vishwanathan. Shiva, Isha Talwar, Prakashraj, Kovai Sarala, Soori, Sathyan and Illavarasu among others play key roles in the film. Shiva in gets a job in a water bottle manufacturing firm by making the owner Prakashraj, an devotee of Lord Muruga believe that he too worships Muruga like him and that he is innocent. He gets the job and Prakashraj starts believing him in all matters. But Prakashraj see him at an IPL match drunk and dancing. To overcome the trouble, Shiva makes him believe that it was his brother Ganguly Jandhan, a karatek master and an irresponsible youth. Now Prakashraj hires Ganguly Kandhan to teach karate to his daughter. They fall for each other. Thillu Mullu from Shiva begins here. Shiva is the highlight of the movie. His body language and dialogue delivery are the movie’s USP. He is good at humour and just gets it right here. Prakashraj as a businessman who believes Shiva is apt for the role. Kovai Sarala chips in with her best. Eventually Thillu Mullu 2 is a must watch comical entertainer that will appease one and all. Forget the original, go and watch the remake version. Verdict: Laughathon assured
